An ad slipped through

Tap Mark Ad in the player while it plays. HiFAi skips it there, in your other downloaded episodes and in every new one. In the Ads tab you can play what was cut and tap Not Ad if something was cut by mistake.

Getting your podcasts back

The podcasts you follow are saved in your iCloud Keychain. After reinstalling HiFAi or moving to a new iPhone, open the Podcasts tab and tap Restore. You can also export your list as an OPML file in Settings.

Checking downloaded episodes again

Settings › Rescan Downloaded Episodes checks them again. HiFAi also does this by itself when an update improves ad detection.

Voices are recognized with the WeSpeaker ResNet34 model trained on VoxCeleb, licensed under CC BY 4.0, converted to run on the iPhone. Ads are checked with Qwen 3 1.7B, licensed under Apache 2.0, running on the iPhone with Apple’s MLX.
